Managing Partner
Thomas W. Johnson, II is a graduate of the University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria with a B. Sc Degree in Civil Engineering and has also acquired certificates in the areas of Project Management, Environmental Management (ESIA) and Computer Studies. He is a member of the Engineering Society of Liberia (ESOL) and the Union of Certified Environmental Professionals of Liberia (UCEL). He has worked in various multinational companies and international organizations of repute and has acquired expertise both nationally and internationally in the areas of:

Engineering/Technical Department: The head of this unit has a master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, Georgia, U.S.A. with over 25 years of relevant professional experience, 13 of which relate to international highway pavement development, including design, construction, and training. He has also worked over 10 years on projects involving the evaluation, design, and construction quality control of pavements, structural fill observation, foundation inspection, cast-in-place concrete testing, monitoring of pile driving and compaction grouting and masonry inspection. Some of these projects involved international contract management under FIDIC conditions.
He is assisted by a soil and material specialist who holds a diploma in Civil Engineering from the John Hopkins University Evening College, Baltimore, Maryland, U.S.A. and a certificate in Soil, Concrete, Soil Cement and Asphalt Pavement, Washington Area Council of Engineering Laboratories, Fair Fax, Virginia, U.S.A. He has over 35 years of experience. He has worked in the U.S.A. for over 12 years in caisson inspection and deep caisson foundations; pile drilling installation and pile load testing; established settlement characteristics of the sub-soil, dewatering system of sheeting and bracing system on interstate highways and security installations. During this period, he was also involved in feasibility studies of intricate soil test procedures required during the implementation of a rapid transit system as well as for dams. |
